The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On March 13, at 9:30 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle had a brake light out. The driver was found to have an active warrant out of Hamilton and was placed under arrest. The 39-year-old East Windsor resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.
On March 15 at 1:49 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle being operated erratically. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The Jamesburg resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, but refused to comply with breath testing procedures. He was later released pending court action.

On march 16, at 12:04 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle being operated erratically. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The Matawan resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, but refused to comply with breath testing procedures. The 34-year-old was later released pending court action.
On March 17, at 11:42 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle had an improperly displayed license plate. The driver was found to have an active warrant out of Milltown and was placed under arrest. The 23-year-old Boundbrook resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and was released after posting bail.

On March 18 at 2:15 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of The Orchard after a registration inquiry revealed that the registered owner had an active traffic warrant out of Atlantic County. The driver was confirmed to be the registered owner and was placed under arrest. The 19-year-old Trenton resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on her own recognizance.
On March 18, at 12:39 p.m., an officer responded to Jersey Smoke for a past-tense shoplifting. The suspect stole $500 worth of merchandise approximately one hour prior. The officer identified the suspect and located him at the Windsor Hotel where he was placed under arrest. The East Windsor resident was also found to have active warrants out of Woodbridge, Hackettstown, Egg Harbor City, and Carlstadt. The 43-year-old was transported to police headquarters, processed, served with a complaint summons, and later released on his own recognizance.
On March 18 at 2:43 p.m., an officer stopped an individual for a pedestrian traffic violation. The individual was found to have warrants out of Hamilton and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office. The 58-year-old Trenton resident was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later turned over to the custody of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 18, at 4:10 p.m., an officer responded to ShopRite for a past-tense shoplifting report. The suspect exited the store without paying for $652.71 worth of merchandise. The 49-year-old Hightstown resident was identified and charged on a complaint summons pending court action.
On March 19, at 10:30 a.m., an officer responded to Walmart for a past-tense shoplifting that just occurred. Multiple suspects collected $588.18 worth of merchandise and bypassed all points of sale. A description of the vehicle and suspects was provided. At approximately 4:17 p.m., the officer responded to The Home Depot on a report that the same individuals shoplifted $956.07 worth of merchandise. The case was assigned to a detective who identified and charged two individuals in connection with both shopliftings.
