Report: Hightstown High School Principal Retires
The principal retired in the beginning of July, according to the Windsor-Hights Herald.

Hightstown High School Principal Alix Arvizu is slated to retire at the beginning of July, the Windsor-Hights Herald reported.
Arvizu has been an employee of the East Windsor Regional School District for seven years of her 42-year career in education. The Board of Education has appointed Dennis Vinson as her successor, according to the report.

Prior to her tenure as principal, Arvizu worked as assistant principal in Piscataway, and has also taught Spanish and French at the middle and high school levels, the Herald reported. Under Arvizu’s leadership, Hightstown High added a number of Advanced Placement courses, which can be taken for college credit.
Superintendent Edward Forsthoffer praised Arvizu for her engagement and dedication to the students of Hightstown High.
