I am proud to nominate my daughter, Lorelai, an exceptional eighth grader at East Windsor Middle School, who truly embodies what it means to make a difference. Lorelai has consistently received honors throughout the school year, demonstrating her dedication to academic excellence. She is also part of the “Educators Rising” program, reflecting her early commitment to a future in teaching and service. Lorelai goes above and beyond inside and outside of the classroom.

She serves as the student body vice president, where she works hard to support her peers and make school a better place for everyone. She has also taken the initiative to join the Police Cadets, showing leadership, responsibility, and a drive to be involved in her community. What makes Lorelai truly special is her heart. Every year, instead of using her birthday gift cards for herself, she donates them to buy Christmas gifts for children in foster care.

She has a natural instinct to put others first, always looking for ways to uplift those around her. Lorelai is a shining example of compassion, leadership, and integrity. Our community is better because of kids like her, and I believe she deserves to be recognized and celebrated for the difference she’s already making in the world.
