Stop Feeding the Cranbury Skunks!

An increase in skunk presence in Cranbury Township has been noticed and residents may be to blame.

There has reportedly been an increase in the amount of skunk complaints in Cranbury, according to the Township website. Could you be to blame?

According to the notice, residents may be to blame for the rise in the skunk presence as outdoor eating has increased in the warm weather. Residents are being advised to not place food outside of the home because it will attract skunks and other wild animals, including feral cats, raccoons, possums and rats.

These types of wild animals may carry disease, and the township is recommending that all residents deter by not offering them food.
