Use Shuttle To Train Station To Cut Commute Cost: East Windsor Mayor

The buses are operated by the Arc Mercer on behalf of the Township.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ – Mayor Janice Mironov of East Windsor is encouraging township residents to use the township-sponsored shuttle bus to Princeton Junction train station.

The shuttle bus, funded by NJ Transit State and Federal grants, provides East Windsor and Hightstown commuters and residents a convenient option to travel to and from the Princeton Junction Train Station for work and other daily needs during the morning and evening commutes.

The buses are operated by the Arc Mercer on behalf of the Township and operates Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

The route includes three one-way commutes in the early morning to the train station, with stops along Old Cranbury Road, North Main Street, Dutch Neck Road, Route 571, One Mile Road, Old Trenton Road, and more. The shuttle also offers two one-way return commutes in the evening from the train station to the various East Windsor and Hightstown stops.

“This is a great opportunity for East Windsor and Hightstown residents who commute to work by train since parking is limited at the Princeton Junction Train Station. The Township highly encourages residents to take advantage of this shuttle option, which helps residents save on gas and the cost of daily commutes to work,” Mironov said.
