Weekend Guide: Feb 15-17

Looking for things to do in the East Windsor, Hightstown and Cranbury area this weekend? Here's our roundup of local events.

Kids Kottage hosts "Friday Night Out" where children can enjoy supervised activities like Freeze Dance, Hide & Seek, Moonbounces, and more. Children will receive a McDonalds dinner, dessert and end the evening with a kid-friendly movie. Friday at 7-11 p.m., $20.

Cranbury Public Library presents "History of Cranbury Landmarks." Local history buff William Bunting will present a "tour" of Cranbur 's history via local landmarks, and discuss his collaboration with John Chambers on "Cranbury, A New Jersey Town from the Colonial Era to the Present." Celebrate Black History Month with a presentation by historian Jeff Macechak who will discuss the Underground Railroad. For adults and teens, Saturday at 1:30 p.m., Free

Hans Christian Anderson's tale of friendship and heroism comes to life in a musical adaptation of the fairytale "Thumbelina" at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday, 2 & 4 p.m, $10

East Windsor Firehouse No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary hosts its annual Psychic Fair. Advance reservations requested. Sunday at noon, $20.
