Bath Salts Found in Englewood Cliffs Parkway Stop, Police Say

Cracked windshield leads PIP officer to host of illegal drugs, police say.

Two Brooklyn men face charges after a car stop on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Englewood Cliffs led to the discovery of bath salts, pills and other drugs, police said Monday.

Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Officer Gregory Kimbro pulled over a 2011 Honda Accord late Friday morning for a cracked windshield at the Sunoco Gas Station, but smelled marijuana coming from the car while gathering information from the driver, according to a police statement. There were two passangers in the car.

After getting consent to search the car, Kimbro discovered two bags, police said.
