Englewood Hospital Recognized Among ‘Top Performers’ Nationally
The hospital was one of just two in Bergen County and 620 in the country to be recognized for excellence in"key quality measures" of heart failure, heart attack, pneumonia and surgical care.

Englewood Hospital and Medical Center is among the country’s “Top Performers on Key Quality Measures,” according to The Joint Commission, which accredits health care organizations in the U.S.
The hospital was one of only two in Bergen County and 620 in the U.S. recognized for “exemplary performance in using evidence-based clinical processes that are shown to improve care for certain conditions,” according to hospital officials.
The Medical Center earned the distinction for its excellence in four specific areas: heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care, officials said.
