Englewood To Host A Junior Police Academy Aug. 17-19

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The Englewood Police Department is hosting its annual Junior Police Academy from Aug. 17-19.

This year, recruits will have the chance to see a helicopter demonstration, watch the police K-9 unit in action and participate in presentations by the Bergen County Sheriff's Department.

Classes will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and lunch will be provided.

The academy is open to young people from Englewood between the ages of 10 and 16.
