Englewood Native Chris Hewitt Headed to Super Bowl as Ravens Coach
Chris Hewitt is the Baltimore Ravens' assistant special teams coach.

Englewood native Chris Hewitt is headed to the Super Bowl as an assistant special teams coach for the Baltimore Ravens, according to a report on NorthJersey.com.
Hewitt, a Dwight Morrow graduate, spent three years as a defensive back for the New Orleans Saints before coaching at Notre Dame and Rutgers. He joined the Ravens in February 2012. On Baltimore's special teams, Hewitt works with Jerry Rosburg, who was his own college coach at the University of Cincinnati.
Word of Hewitt's success with the Ravens has spread quickly. When the Ravens won the AFC championship, Hewitt found he had about 150 voicemails on his phone, most of which were requests for Super Bowl tickets, according to the report.
