One reviewer from New York, NY said: "This is the first lookout going north on the Palisades Parkway. The views are primarily of the Bronx across the river, including the outlet of the Harlem River, where there is a very low railroad bridge requiring a drawbridge for larger boats and parts of the campus of Columbia University.There are no facilities at this lookout, and no way to turn around and go back to get cheap gas about 2 miles south on the parkway.Views are the name of the game at this lookout. And, they can be quite splendid."
