Pascrell to Hold Health Fair in Englewood

The following message was issued by Rep. Bill Pascrell: 

I invite you to attend my Congressional Health Fair on Monday, June 24th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Englewood Hospital, located on 350 Engle Street in Englewood. Please click here to see the informational flyer.  I urge you to help me spread the word to encourage as many people as possible in the 9th Congressional District to attend this event and take advantage of the free health services offered. 

I have hosted a Congressional Health Fair annually and I am looking forward to hosting this year’s health fair at Englewood Hospital. This fair will featurefree health screenings including but not limited to blood pressure, pulmonary function, dental screenings, mental health information, nutritional assessments, stroke and men’s health assessment, and diabetes management and vision screenings. We will also have an onsite pharmacist and many other professionals available for you to consult.

I am writing to you because I know you are concerned about the health of our fellow citizens. This is a perfect opportunity for community and advocacy groups to emphasize to their members and affiliates the paramount importance of preventative health care. I sincerely hope that you will do all that you can to publicize this important FREE medical care outreach opportunity, in order to further our shared goal of improving the health care outcomes for our residents. 

Parking at the hospital will be available and a free lunch will be served.
