UPDATE: Suspicious Propane Tank Shuts Down West Palisade Avenue
A portion of Englewood's downtown was closed, while authorities investigate a "suspicious" propane tank near William Street and West Palisade Avenue.

Authorities have reopened West Palisade Avenue after the bomb squad was called to investigate a suspicious propane tank left near the McDonald's Tuesday afternoon.
Englewood police, firefighters and the Bergen County Police Department's Bomb Squad responded around noon. The scene was cleared in about an hour.
Fire engines and police blocked off William Street and a large portion of the downtown during the investigation.
