Man Kept 4 Lbs. Of Marijuana In Fair Lawn Storage Unit: Police

Someone smelled raw marijuana at Life Storage and called the police.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Police arrested a man after they found 4 pounds of marijuana inside the storage unit he rented, authorities announced.

Milton Hall, 34, of Paterson was charged with distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana over 50 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia, said Sgt. Brian Metzler.

Three Fair Lawn police detectives went to Life Storage on Wagaraw Road Thursday after someone called authorities after smelling raw marijuana coming from inside the building, Metzler said.

Police found 4 pounds of marijuana and materials used to package marijuana inside the unit Hall was renting, Metzler said.

Hall was arrested at his home and charged, Metzler said.
