Hunterdon Co. Veterans To Be Honored At 4-H Fair

Medal recipients and all other veterans will be honored at a special ceremony at the 4-H Fair Aug. 21.

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ — Local veterans will be honored at the Hunterdon County 4-H Fair Aug. 21.

Veterans will be presented with medals and honored during the fair's opening ceremony at 4 p.m. at the Roger K. Everitt Fairgrounds in Ringoes.

"The Veterans Recognition Medal program allows both public officials and residents to meaningfully and publicly thank those Hunterdon County men and women who have faithfully served our nation in the miltary," said John Lanza, deputy director of the Hunterdon County Freeholder Board.

Veterans who have not been previously received a medal should contact Rich Booth, the county's veterans' services officer at 908-788-1361.
