Hunterdon County commissioners honor senior librarian Jane Ricketts on retirement (wrnjradio.com) — Hunterdon County commissioners in Flemington recently honored senior librarian Jane Ricketts as she retires after two decades with the county library system. Ricketts, who grew up in the community, was recognized for her leadership, patron support, and long service, with colleagues and family joining to celebrate her impact on local library services.
   

2. Jersey Cash 5 jackpot worth $255K won by single ticket (nj.com subscription) — A recent Jersey Cash 5 drawing brought a big win to Flemington, where a ticket sold at Higgins News Agency on Main Street hit for $161,650 in Saturday’s game. Another single ticket also scooped nearly $255,000 statewide on Tuesday, with the next jackpot resetting to $150,000 for hopeful players.
   

3. Youth Football League Wins Championship (tapinto.net) — A undefeated 5th grade Central Youth Football team from Flemington just capped a 10–0 season by winning the New Jersey Suburban Youth Football League Super Bowl, a first for the program. The squad of 25 local players, led by head coach Mark Hughes and several assistants, clinched the title Nov. 15 against Hillsborough at Scotch Plains Fanwood High School.
   

4. Flemington Resident Karim Daoud Returns Home Following ICE Detention (tapinto.net) — A longtime Flemington resident and former Blue Fish Grill server, Karim Daoud, is back home with his family after spending more than nine months in ICE detention. Supported by friends and the “Free Karim” community, he shared emotional thanks on Facebook, saying he’s still processing his release but deeply grateful for the love and hugs from Flemington neighbors.
