Red Cross Giving Away Smoke Alarms In Flemington
The free smoke alarms are part of the Red Cross' Home Fire Safety Campaign.
FLEMINGTON, NJ — Free smoke alarms will be offered to residents this month.
Volunteers with the American Red Cross and the Flemington Fire Department will go door-to-door offering to install free smoke alarms in homes that need them.
The volunteer work is part of the Red Cross' Home Fire Safety Campaign, which aims to help reduce the number of fire-related injuries and deaths. Volunteers will be wearing identification tags while out.
