NEW JERSEY - Two swimming areas at separate New Jersey state parks are closed until further notice due to water quality issues, officials said.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, New Jersey State Parks officials announced that Round Valley Recreation Area in Hunterdon County is closed to swimming until further notice due to the quality issues.
Round Valley Reservoir is not affected by this advisory, officials said.

Officials did not clarify what exactly led to the poor water quality notice.
Parks officials also announced over the weekend that Lake Nummy at Belleplain State Forest in Cape May is closed to swimming until further notice, also due to poor water quality.
