About Town: Time to Get Out Your Calendars

Now that the weather's nice, why not get out and take advantage of everything that's going on?

You know it’s going to be a good week when you see Norm’s Ice Cream truck parked outside of Lemoine Hot Bagels on Lemoine Ave. in Coytesville. Even better is when he recognizes you and waves. There are two places About Town always wants to be recognized—where we belly up to the gin-soaked bar at In Napoli’s, and where we belly up to the silver counter of Norm’s Ice Cream truck. Nothing screams "you’ve arrived!" better than having the bartender and ice cream guy call you by your first name. But I digress.

There are a lot of things going on in and around Fort Lee this coming week and beyond, so get out those calendars and save some dates.

Tonight the Fort Lee Historical Society is having its monthly meeting at the at 7 p.m. The Society is always looking for new members, so stop on by and become a part of preserving Fort Lee’s diverse cultural history.
