Fort Lee Post Office Could Move, Public To Hear About Plan
The post office could move to a new building adjacent to the new parking deck.
FORT LEE, NJ β There is a proposal to move the post office from its Main Street, and the public will have a chance to hear about it soon.
The post office could be moved from its 229 Main St. location to a new building being constructed behind it and adjacent to the new parking deck.
Postal officials will present the proposal to the public at a special meeting Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. in the council chamber at the municipal building.

Officials will provide a comprehensive overview of the proposal and invite the public to comment and ask questions.
Residents may submit comments in writing until Nov. 9. Comments must be mailed to David Rouse, United States Postal Service, Facilities, Real Estate and Assets, 475 L'Enfant Plaza SW - Room 6670, Washington, D.C. 20260-1862.
