‘Code Blue’ Alert Extended In Monmouth County, Where To Find Shelter

Cold weather is expected to continue in the coming days. Here's where you can access local warming centers:

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — A “Code Blue” alert has been extended throughout Monmouth County, keeping warming centers and shelters open as the cold weather continues.

“Code Blue” is put in place when temperatures drop below freezing (32 F) and conditions pose a threat to unsheltered individuals.

In Monmouth County, the “Code Blue” alert is set to last until 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
