FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting a DWI checkpoint this Friday night , Oct. 14, in Freehold Township. The checkpoint will run from 10 p.m. Friday night to 2 a.m. Saturday morning on Route 9 North. All vehicles will be diverted into the Juniper Plaza. Freehold Township officers will work alongside members of the Task Force to screen drivers for their sobriety, said Chief Michael Schneider, Allenhurst Police Department, Monmouth County DWI Task Force Coordinator.
