Festivals, Markets, Car Shows: This Weekend In Monmouth County

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — As the summer season comes to a close, there’s plenty of events planned around Monmouth County you can check out this weekend.

Whether you’re looking to sample bites from local food trucks, celebrate your hometown/community, or enjoy live entertainment, there’s plenty of fun activities you can enjoy.

Here are seven events happening around Monmouth County this weekend:

Food Trucktemberfest
Enjoy over a dozen of the area’s best food trucks serving everything from lobster rolls to ice cream sundaes at Monmouth Park’s Food Trucktemberfest on Saturday.

Food trucks will begin serving around 11 a.m., and live music by the Soulstirs will take place from 12-4 p.m.

Hazlet Day
Check out Hazlet Township’s biggest celebration of the year from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Attendees will be able to enjoy live family entertainment, local food trucks, and unique finds from dozens of vendor booths. Local organizations will also be in attendance alongside local first responders.

Hazlet First Aid’s Super 50/50 will be drawn at the end of the day. In case of rain, the event will take place on Sunday.

Bugs, Birds & Beyond Festival
Enjoy nature-based hands-on activities, crafts, experiments and more at Rutgers Master Gardeners of Monmouth County’s “Bugs, Birds & Beyond” Festival on Saturday.

From 12-4 p.m., attendees will be able to enjoy a bug and butterfly safari, nature scavenger hunt, 4-H animals, water science fun and more.

Bell Works Fresh Saturday Market
Shop local makers, bakers and more at Bell Works’ Fresh Saturday Market from 12-4 p.m.

The market will take place in the Main Atrium with live music from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Classic Car & Truck Show
Check out vintage cars, classic trucks, and more at the American Legion Post 54’s Classic Car & Truck Show on Sunday.

The show will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hall of Records, with proceeds set to benefit local military veterans.

Marlboro Day
Enjoy vendors, food trucks, inflatables and more at Marlboro Day on Sunday from 12-5 p.m.

The community celebration will take place at the Marlboro Municipal Complex, with family, friends and neighbors invited to join in the event. Entry is free.

Colts Neck Polo Classic
Join the Colts Neck Business Association for a day of polo, tailgating, divot stomping, community fun and more at the Colts Neck Polo Classic on Sunday.

The event will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Bucks Mill Community Park, Upper Field. Individual tickets start at $25.
