Freehold Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Mentally Handicapped Woman

A Freehold man has been indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury after he allegedly sexually assaulted a Freehold Borough woman.

Leonard Mincey Jr., 43, of South Street, is accused of aggravated sexual assault following a Dec. 9 incident. According to Mincey’s indictment, he sexually assaulted a woman who is incapable of providing consent to the action.

Mincey allegedly knew the woman was mentally incapacitated or had a mental disease; making her incapable of understanding the nature of the conduct. 

Mincey has been indicted on one charge of aggravated sexual assault for the alleged action.
