Freehold Man Drowned In a Pool On Friday: Police

His co-workers saw him at the bottom of the pool and tried rescuing him, but he was eventually pronounced dead.

FREEHOLD, NJ — A Freehold man drowned on Friday afternoon in a pool in Millstone, according to New Jersey State Police.

Guilebaldo Ramos, 30, was swimming at his employer's place with a few of his coworkers, when they noticed that he was at the bottom of the deep end of the pool, according to police.

Ramo's colleagues pulled him out and tried to save his life, but he was later pronounced dead after EMS and paramedics arrived on the scene.

Troopers responded to the Millstone residence, in Conover Road, at around 6:43 p.m.

The incident remains under investigation.
