Freehold Will Host Calls From Santa, Winter Wonderland Workshop

The Freehold Township Parks & Recreation annouced the dates for these holiday events.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Holiday season is right around the corner and the Freehold Township Parks & Recreation has announced the dates for their holiday events.

Parents can now register for their children to get free phone calls from Santa, which will happen on Dec 6. between 6 and 8:30 p.m.

Due to Santa's busy schedule, parents will have to make sure their children are home at the selected time.

The Parks and Recreation Department is also hosting a Winter Wonderland Workshop on Dec. 8 between 4 and 6 p.m. at the Micahel J. Tighe Park Activity Center.

Participants will get all the supplies to decorate a chocolate house at home. Due to COVID-19, once again this year, the workshop will be by pick up only.

You can send photos of the finished pieces to fttrec@twp.freehold.nj.us and they will be shared on social media.

Each house is $15 and pre-registration is required.
