Weekend In Old Monmouth
For those looking to learn more about Monmouth County’s history, you can check out the county’s annual “Weekend In Old Monmouth” event on Saturday and Sunday.

Throughout the event, over 50 of Monmouth County’s historic sites will be open to the public for free.

Annual Kites at the Pier Festival
Love flying kites? Join Pier Village on Saturday when they host their annual Kite Festival.

Attendees can bring their own kite or purchase one at the event. Guests can enjoy food, vendors, live music and more throughout the day.

Free Comic Book Day
Each year on the first Saturday of May, comic book shops across the country celebrate Free Comic Book Day, where stores give away free comics and encourage readers to visit their local comic book shops.

This year, Free Comic Book Day will take place on Saturday, May 3, with stores participating throughout New Jersey.

The Monmouth Moms 2025 Spring Festival
This Sunday, Bell Works will host the annual Monmouth Moms Spring Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Festival activities will include a kids activity zone, flower scavenger hunt, DJ and dance contests, festival food and more. Admission is complimentary, but you can grab tickets for the outdoor fun zone.

Plant A Sunflower At Historic Longstreet Farm
On Sunday, Historic Longstreet Farm is inviting community members to help their staff plant this year’s sunflower field.

Once planted, attendees can return in the fall and harvest one to bring home. The event is free, weather and field conditions permitting.
