Man Accused of Defiant Trespassing at Freehold Township Home

A Jersey City man faces two charges after he was allegedly found peered into a window of an Ascot Drive home.

Freehold Township Police arrested Brian Pearson, 38, on Monday, Feb. 25. According to Pearson’s complaint warrant, he allegedly committed an act of defiant trespassing by peering into the window of the township home.

In addition to defiant trespassing, Pearson was allegedly found in possession of a burglary tool. The warrant explains that the burglary tool was a flathead screwdriver which is commonly used for forcible entry into a premise.

According to the NJ Department of Corrections, Pearson has multiple prior offenses involving charges of aggravated assualt, burglary, theft and drug distribution.

Pearson has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $1,500 bail.
