Man Arrested After Stealing over $1300 From Walmart; Believed to be Illegal Immigrant by Police
The defendant was caught shoplifting over $1300 in merchandise from Walmart, and is believed to be an undocumented alien.
Freehold Township Police have reported of an arrest made on August 13, of a man suspected to be an illegal alien.
Officers say that Gustavo Cristino-Carillo, 26, who gave an apartment on Broad Street as his home address, was arrested by police after being caught shoplifting $1362.42 worth of “assorted merchandise” from Walmart on Route 537 in Freehold.
According to Monmouth County Courthouse records, Cristino-Carillo had “no verifiable indentification or address” and was therefore suspected of being an ”undocumented alien”.

He was held with bail set at $10,000 with no 10% option. Cristino-Carillo’s first court appearance has been scheduled for August 19 at 8:00 in the morning.
