'Code Blue' Alert Opens Shelters In Monmouth County
See where you can access warming centers throughout the area.
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Monmouth County is calling a “Code Blue” alert as weather forecasters predict a cold snap throughout the coming days.
The alert will begin Friday at 6 p.m. and last until 9 a.m. on Christmas morning. Code Blue is put in place when temperatures drop below freezing (32 F) and conditions pose a threat to unsheltered individuals.
