‘One Of The Best Days Of The Summer’: Olde Freehold Day Sets 2025 Return

FREEHOLD BOROUGH, NJ — This summer, Olde Freehold Day is set to return to Monmouth County with music, food and activities for attendees to enjoy.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, the annual event will host a lineup of live music, various food trucks, a beer garden, activities and more.
The day will begin with a brief, solemn ceremony honoring Freehold Borough’s veterans and thanking them for their sacrifice and service. All veterans are encouraged to attend and be part of this observance.

As the day continues, there will also be a vendor marketplace for shopping and an art show featuring local artists. For those looking for more active fun, a climbing wall, canoes, and paddleboats will also be available.
During Olde Freehold Day, younger crowds will be able to enjoy the Kid Play Zone, which will have games and activities such as a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables, and face painting.

By popular demand, the famous dunk tank will also return to the annual event. Attendees can get ready for their chance to make a splash and dunk some familiar borough faces.
“Olde Freehold Day is always one of the best days of the summer for the Borough,” Mayor Kevin Kane said. “I encourage everyone to come out and experience the fun and camaraderie this annual event is known for.”
Free shuttle buses will be leaving from the Monmouth County Courthouse starting at 10:15 a.m. and will run throughout the day (handicap access is also available).
Additional parking will be available on Robertsville Road. This is the back entrance, with field parking, and will be managed by the VFW. Park here and take a free wagon ride shuttle to the festivities.
