See New Stores, Expansions Coming To Freehold Raceway Mall

FREEHOLD, NJ — Change is in the air at Freehold Raceway Mall, along with a new set of store openings, expansions and brand transformations, the mall recently announced.

Whether you’re looking for new retailers, indulgent treats, family-friendly attractions, or wellness destinations, there’s a variety of new stores and expansions coming to the mall, which include:

JD Sports

• Set to open late 2025
• Expansion of the current Finish Line location
• Rebranding from Finish Line, officials said JD Sports is a leading global retailer of athletic footwear, apparel and accessories, known for carrying top brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma and New Balance alongside exclusive styles and limited-edition drops. The expanded store will offer a curated selection of performance and lifestyle products for men, women, and kids, blending sport and streetwear culture.

Kids Empire

• Set to open early 2026
• Located outside next to Primark
• Occupying 15,059 square feet, Kids Empire aims to inspire everyone to play big, with an indoor playground that offers kids of all ages a safe, colorful and action-packed environment to climb, slide, jump, explore and more. Known for providing an exciting venue for birthday parties, family outings and group activities, Kids Empire also welcomes field trips to create memorable experiences for schools and community groups.

Läderach

• Set to open late September 2025
• Located on the mall’s upper level, center court
• Founded in 1962, this Swiss chocolate manufacturer stands for three core values: freshness, artisanal skills, and Swissness. The family company employs over 2,500 people from over 80 countries across the Group (which is headquartered in the Swiss canton of Glarus), and Läderach oversees the entire production process – from the cocoa bean to the store counter and manufactures its chocolate exclusively in Switzerland. Signature products include its fresh chocolate, pralines and truffles.

Qi Balance Spa

• Set to open fall 2025
• Located in the mall’s lower level by Dave & Buster’s and the common area kiosk
• Qi Balance Spa focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere and uses a variety of massage techniques designed to relieve pain or reduce stress. Types of massage include deep-tissue, Swedish, or hot stone massage, amongst others. The goal of Qi Balance Space is to provide massage services that can benefit both the mind and body.

In addition to the new retailers joining the mall, Freehold Raceway has also been working on various expansions and redesigns.

Victoria’s Secret and PINK have unveiled a new look and expanded offerings, while J. Crew Factory has opened its doors with classic styles, and Francesca’s is back with its blend of apparel, accessories and gifts.

There are also other new arrivals on the way to the mall, such as DICK’s House of Sport, Dry Goods, Warby Parker, Kura Sushi, and Mango Thai, which are prepared to open soon.
