FREEHOLD, NJ — Multiple candidates have filed to run for open seats on the Freehold Township, Freehold Borough and Upper Freehold school boards in November.

In Freehold Township, six people have filed to run for three open, full-term seats on the board.

In Freehold Borough, two incumbents are running unopposed for three open, full-term seats on the board.

There are currently no seats up on the Freehold Regional High School Board of Education representing Freehold Borough or Freehold Township.

Monday marked the filing deadline for those who wished to file petitions for candidacy in New Jersey's school board elections, which will be held during General Election Day on Nov. 4.
