Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Parts Of Monmouth, Ocean

MONMOUTH AND OCEAN COUNTIES, NJ — Portions of Monmouth and Ocean counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning on Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service said.

The warning is in effect until 4 p.m. and covers western parts of Monmouth County and Jackson, Lakewood, and parts of Plumsted and Manchester in Ocean County.

Wind gusts up to 60 mph are possible, along with hail, the service said.
