Township Committee Meeting Tuesday Night

Tuesday night marks the first time time David Salkin will walk into a meeting as the mayor of Freehold Township. While he was selected at a reorganization meeting earlier this month this is his first full night at the center of the dais.

The new mayor should have a relatively light agenda according to information on the township’s website. The bulk of the items are on the consent agenda including authorizing Maul M. McGuire Family Health Care Center/I Beseech Thee for Healthcare services for uninsured people.

Also on the agenda is a discussion about the campground license renewal for Pine Cone Resort LLC and junk dealer licenses for Freehold American Inc. and A&A Truck Parts inc.

The National Weather Service is calling for a wet day today with an 80 percent chance of rain before a mostly cloudy night. The high is expected to be a pleasantly warm 50 degrees during the day before a low of 37 later in the day. Wet weather, including a chance of snow on Thursday marks our weather for the next few days.
