Winning $50,000 Lottery Tickets Sold In Colts Neck, Howell, Manalapan

Some local winners won a piece of the $1.2 billion Power Ball action Wednesday, including a $2M win with a ticket sold in Matawan.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Three New Jersey Lottery tickets purchased in stores in western Monmouth County matched four of the five white balls drawn for the Nov. 2 Power Ball drawing, winning $50,000 each.

Monmouth County also had a $2 million Power Ball winner, matching five of the five white balls with the Power Play multiplier, purchased at Raceway Matawan, 3961 Route 516 and Higgins Road, state lottery officials said.

The $50,000 winning tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Country Farms, 420 State Route 34, Colts Neck;
  • Stop & Shop #815, 4861 Route 9, Howell;
  • Wegmans Manalapan, 55 Route 9 South, Manalapan

Elsewhere in Monmouth County, a $50,000 winning ticket was sold at:

  • Wawa #917, 2432 Highway 35, Manasquan

Statewide there were also two $1,000,000 Power Balls winners, matching five of five white balls:

  • Bergen County: The Market at Saddle Brook, 487 Fairlawn Pkwy., Saddle Brook; and,
  • Middlesex County: Wawa #8406, 580 US Highway 1, Edison.

Across the state, these other tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. One of those tickets was purchased with Power Play, multiplying the prize to $100,000. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • $100,000: Passaic County: Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Turnpike, Hewitt.

The $50,000 winning tickets were purchased at:

  • Essex County: Cedar Grove Liquors, 597 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove;
  • Gloucester County: Wawa #961, 1700 Center Square Road, Logan Township;
  • Hudson County: Krauszer's Food Store, 787 Kearny Ave., Kearny;
  • Hudson County: Jersey Deli Store 11 LLC, 7217 Bergenline Ave., North Bergen;
  • Hunterdon County: Shell Food Mart, 601 Route 12, Flemington;
  • Mercer County: Speedy Mart, 59 State Road, Princeton;
  • Morris County: 7-Eleven #39300, 99 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls; and,
  • Ocean County: Wine Emporium, 1205 Richmond Ave., Point Pleasant Beach.

The winning numbers for the Power Ball drawing were: 02, 11, 22, 35 and 60. The Red Power Ball number was 23. The Power Play was 2X. In all, 344,335 New Jersey players took home an estimated $1,722,098 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $1.5 billion for the Saturday, Nov. 5, drawing.

The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets. The Double Play drawing results for the Nov. 2, drawing were: 20, 34, 37, 57, and 67. The Red Double Play Power Ball number was 26.
