1,500 Without Power In Galloway As Powerful Storm Moves Through
Wind gusts of more than 70 mph have been recorded and more than 13,000 homes and businesses are without power in Atlantic County.
GALLOWAY, NJ — More than 14,000 homes and businesses were without power across Atlantic County on Monday as storms packing powerful winds pushed through New Jersey.
Galloway had nearly 1,500 customers without power as of 1:30 p.m., according to Atlantic City Electric. The preliminary estimate of restoration of service is 3 p.m.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for Atlantic County and nearly all of New Jersey until 6 p.m. Read more: Tornado Watch Across NJ Through 6 PM

In addition, winds flattened a roof at a gas station in Egg Harbor Township.

A report by 6ABC said there were no injuries in the gas station collapse.
