Snow, Rain Storms Possible In NJ Forecast Next Week

Forecasters are monitoring two storm systems expected to move through New Jersey next week that could bring a wintry mix of snow and rain.

NEW JERSEY β€” Two storm systems are on track to move northeast next week, though forecasters are still monitoring whether New Jersey will see a wintry mix of snow or rain showers.

Under the first scenario, the Garden State could see rain showers late Sunday into Monday, according to AccuWeather.

Higher than average temperatures along with seasonably warm ocean waters may limit the amount of snow along the coast and I-95 corridor during the middle of next week, according to AccuWeather.

AccuWeather meteorologists are analyzing another storm system which could shift eastward and make its way to New Jersey on Tuesday into Wednesday.

β€œUltimately, the track of the storm will hold the key as to which areas will be most likely to receive snow versus rain versus a wintry mix. Another factor will be how cold it turns behind the first storm in the Midwest and Northeast,” forecasters said.
