Airshow To Return To Atlantic City This Summer After All

Visit Atlantic City and Herb Gillen Airshows are partnering to host the "Visit Atlantic City Soar & Shore Festival" this July.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Planes will take to the skies this summer after all with a reimagined airshow in Atlantic City.

Visit Atlantic City and Herb Gillen Airshows announced a partnership Wednesday, returning the free airshow to the shore. The Visit Atlantic City Soar & Shore Festival is set to take place Tuesday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 16. The event will be free.

Late last year, it was announced that the popular Atlantic City Airshow would be canceled in 2025, just as it had been in 2024. Read more: Atlantic City Airshow Canceled For 2025

“The airshow has always been an incredibly popular event in Atlantic City, and we are excited to be able to partner with Herb Gillen Airshows to bring back this experience for our locals and visitors alike,” said Gary Musich, President and CEO of Visit Atlantic City.

Further details about the show will be announced in the coming months.

“The Airshow is important for our casinos, businesses, and for our tourism and hospitality industry as a whole, and the Small administration has always offered our support to do what needs to be done to make sure this event lives on,” said City of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. “Kudos to Visit Atlantic City, the CRDA, the Greater AC Chamber and everyone involved in bringing this event back to the Great City of Atlantic City this summer.”
