Alternating Traffic Pattern Set For Galloway Road: Police

The one lane, alternating traffic pattern on Pitney Road near Ridgewood Avenue will begin March 5 and continue through the week.

GALLOWAY, NJ — An alternating traffic pattern will be in place on Pitney Road this week as drainage improvement work is completed.

Starting March 5 and going through March 8, a one lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in place on Pitney Road about 1,000 feet north of the Ridgewood Avenue intersection, Galloway police said.

The work will be done daily from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting, according to police.

Police advise motorists to follow the posted work zone signs and plan travel time accordingly or seek a different route.

Police and traffic directors will be on site to assist.
