Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Cheryl is amazing as a teacher and a colleague. As a teacher, she has stepped up for the Galloway Township public schools time and time again, filling whatever position she was asked to, but not only filling but setting a new standard of excellence in that role. She has taught Intervention at all elementary levels, she has taught virtual kindergarten, in-person kindergarten, first grade and various levels of summer school. For her students, her calm voice and demeanor are a precious gift in this world of stress and conflict. She is never afraid to try new methods of teaching and so her skills have multiplied over the last more than 20 years. As a colleague, she is always there to help anyone who seeks her out. And teachers and administrators sure do!
