Annual Oktoberfest Returns To Historic Smithville

Kick off fall with this fun celebration featuring music, food, vendors, kids activities and more.

SMITHVILLE, NJ — Celebrate fall with Smithville Oktoberfest on Oct. 1 and 2.

Held at the Historic Smithville Village, this fun-filled day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. features more than 100 juried crafters in addition to the village's existing 60 shops, an international food court, live music, kids activities, non-profit organizations and more, according to the Historic Smithville website.

"Each year, the Historic Smithville Village becomes host to a giant celebration of authentic autumnal food, beer, and music," the webpage reads.

Parents can enjoy shopping and drinking while kids play, featuring the famous giant jumping horse, duck pond game, face painting and balloon animals.

"Oktoberfest in the Historic Smithville Village is a great time for the entire family–even the dog!" Historic Smithville said. "No matter what style, hobby or interest, there’s something for everyone at this fun-filled autumn festival."

A free shuttle will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day of the festival, leaving from the Smithville Shopping Center on Moss Hill Road.
