Assumption Regional Catholic School in Galloway Celebrates School With Back to School Recess Tuesday

School is back and to celebrate, Assumption Regional Catholic School in Galloway presents Back to School Recess Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the gymnasium and playground.

Families with students entering grades Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten can visit their student’s rooms, meet the teachers and participate in a short parent/student orientation.

School begins Sept. 2 with grades 1 through 8 and Kindergarten children with last names A to K attend from 7:50 a.m. to noon dismissal. Pre-K4 children with last names from A through K and pre-K3 three day students go from 8:20 a.m. to noon. The After Care Program will be available until 3 p.m. that day. Students follow the same schedule Sept. 3, except for Kindergarten and Pre-K4 children with last names from L through Z, and Pre-K3 two day students.

School is closed from Sept. 4 to 7.

Regular hours resume Sept. 8 with Kindergarten through 8 attending from 7:50 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., Pre-K4 from 8:20 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. and Pre-K3 two days from 8:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The After Care Program will be available until 5:30 p.m. On Sept. 9 Pre-K3 three day program begins its full day.

Summer homework is due the first day of school. Visit the website and download the work for grades 1 to 8.
