Atlantic City Airshow Is This Week: See Lineup, Schedule

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Get ready for takeoff. This week is the new Visit Atlantic City Soar & Shore Festival, with airshows on July 15 and 16. But that's not all - Atlantic City is hosting a week full of fun events, festivals and more.

Airshow Schedule

July 15 is the practice day; the show day is July 16. Both days start at 12 p.m. and run through 2:30 p.m.

Acts include:

• 12:00 p.m.: Misty Blues Parachute Team – All-women skydiving team
• 12:12 p.m.: Nathan Hammond’s Super Chipmunk – High-energy aerobatics
• 12:22 p.m.: USCG MH-65 – Dolphin SAR Demo
• 12:34 p.m.: 177th Fighter Wing, New Jersey ANG – Four F-16 flybys
• 12:44 p.m.: B-25 Mitchell Bomber – Legendary WWII aircraft
• 12:54 p.m.: UH-1H Huey with Smokey Bear – Vietnam-era helicopter
• 12:59 p.m.: Warbird Thunder – Aerobatic team
• 1:14 p.m.: 108WG KC-46 Pegasus – Aerial refueling tanker
• 1:22 p.m.: Third Strike Wingwalking – Dual wingwalking + solo acrobatics
• 1:35 p.m.: Thom Richard FM-2 Wildcat – Classic U.S. Navy fighter
• 1:47 p.m.: Skip Stewart – Award-winning aerobatic daredevil
• 1:59 p.m.: Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 Fighter – Cold War-era Soviet jet

Where To Watch

Planes will soar above Atlantic City's beaches. The Show Center is at Bally's Atlantic City, which invites guests to enjoy the show from Bally's Beach Bar.

The bar opens at 11 a.m. daily, and guests can grab a spot early, rent a beach chair and enjoy food and drinks on the beach. The jets, stunts and flyovers will take place directly above.

Bally's will also offer specials, including:

• Hot Dog Happy Hour: Half-price Beach Bar Dogs from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
• Golden Hour Specials: From 5 to 9 p.m., enjoy $10 signature cocktails and frozen drinks, $6 imported beers and seltzers, and $5 domestic brews.
• Cabanas, chair and umbrella rentals available daily.

Second Annual Car Show

Silent Movie Experience

• July 16 at 6 p.m.

Beachfront Fireworks Display by Grucci

• July 16 at 9 p.m.
  • On the beach between Brighton Avenue and California Avenue, in front of Tropicana Atlantic City
  • Take in a spectacular display of fireworks along the Atlantic City skyline
