NJ Transit Bus Crash On AC Expressway, No Major Injuries
Several people were injured after a New Jersey Transit bus crashed on the Atlantic City Expressway Tuesday morning.
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Several people were injured after an NJ Transit bus crashed on the Atlantic City Expressway Tuesday morning, according to state police.
The bus crashed on the west site of the Expressway near Exit 28/Route 54 in Hamilton Township, around 4 a.m., said Sgt. Philip Curry with New Jersey State Police. Curry said the Line 551 bus went off the roadway and hit several trees.
The driver and nine passengers were on the bus at the time, and rescue crews were able to get everyone out. Several people suffered minor injuries, Curry said. The Hammonton Fire Department had to extricate the driver.

State police are still investigating the crash.
