CFBNJ Seeks Bids for NJDA Summer Food Service Program

State's largest food bank seeks a vendor for prepackaged meals in Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland counties

Community FoodBank of New Jersey, an approved sponsor in the State of New Jersey, invites the submission of sealed bids for prepackaged breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals, meeting program requirements as described in the bid specifications and contract. Bids containing dual prices for one meal type that are tied to a sponsor's ultimate level of meal service will be rejected.

FSMC submitting bids must be registered in the State of New Jersey to participate in the Summer Food Service Program. These meals are to be served to 2300-2500 children in the Summer Food Service Program Monday-Friday.

Delivery is to be as per bid specifications and contract, and covering sites in Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland counties. Specifications and contract may be obtained as of 5/22/23 from Community FoodBank of New Jersey, 6735 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234. Sealed bids clearly marked on the outside envelope SFSP, along with a sample lunch are to be received by 6/5/23 at 11:00am at Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the estimated total amount of bid must accompany the bid. The bid bond must be from a company listed in the current Department of Treasury Circular 570 certified to do business in New Jersey. No other type of bid bond is acceptable.
