Chris Rock In AC: Tickets Explode In Price Post-Slap
If you're interested in see what Chris Rock has to say about the Oscars slap in AC this weekend, be prepared to pay a lot.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Following the "slap incident" of the Oscars, ticket prices to see Chris Rock perform this weekend in Atlantic City have risen greatly in price.
Rock's Ego Death World Tour kicks off on April 2 with two shows at the Borgata. And if you want to see if he has anything to say about Will Smith's slap, be prepared to pay quite a bit. While Ticketmaster tickets are sold out, you can buy some from a reseller - for a thousand dollars.
The cheapest ticket prices Patch found on resale site StubHub were $935 a pop. At the time of writing, there were very few tickets left even though reselling.

According to Variety, ticket reseller TickPick reported that tickets have surged from $46 on March 18 to a minimum of $341. And specifically for Atlantic City, the DO AC website shows that when tickets went on sale, they started at $96.
"We sold more tickets to see Chris Rock overnight than we did in the past month combined," TickPick tweeted.
