Coastal Flood Advisory In Effect For Atlantic County Tuesday
Flooding may occur around high tide.

Atlantic County residents may need to take extra precautions when going to the voting booth, as the weather may present a problem. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect on Tuesday, Nov. 7, according to the National Weather Service. The advisory is in effect through 2 p.m.
The advisory is in effect for Cape May and Atlantic counties, as well as southeastern Burlington, Sussex and the Delaware beaches. Minor flooding is expected around high tide.
Wave heights on the ocean waters off the coast are expected to be between 3 and 6 feet, and localized road flooding is expected. It may result in local road closures.

Residents are advised not to leave their car in an area prone to tidal flooding. Don't drive your car through flood waters, as water may be deeper than it looks.
Minor flooding may occur at high tide on Wednesday, as well.
