Egg Harbor Building Fire Prompts Rt. 40 Delays Tuesday: DOT

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - A building fire on Route 40 has prompted commuting delays in the area Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 5:34 a.m., there’s a building fire on Rt. 40 in both directions causing traffic delays in the vicinity of Atlantic City Expressway in Egg Harbor Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed and detoured, the agency said.
