Galloway Cops Arrest South Jersey Man For Numerous Gun Violations

Steven Martinez, Mullica, was found with a Glock semiautomatic handgun, hollow point bullets, high capacity magazine, police say

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Police recently arrested a South Jersey man and charged him with a number of gun and ammunition violations, Detective Lt. Joseph J. Picardi said.

Officer Greg Gillespie stopped Steven Martinez, 24, at 3:10 p.m. on April 10 at Route 30 and Holly Avenue. A search warrant was obtained and police impounded his vehicle. after a Glock semiautomatic handgun was recovered, he said.

Martinez was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, certain persons not to have weapons, possession of hollow point bullets, possession of a high capacity magazine, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Martinez was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Detectives Bryan Casey and Dominic Fabrizio assisted with the investigation.
